October ARt Show Featuring Jessica Brawner- Closing Reception

Perceptions Yoga, Mindfulness and Art , a nonprofit in Vernon, will feature the works of October Artist of the month, Jessica Brawner with an opening public reception on October 4, 2024 from 5-7pm.Jessica  states, “It’s the little things in life that should not be taken for granted.”  As the mother of two awesome young men and aunt to an amazing woman and a vibrant little boy that will forever be five years old, she had a nephew that passed away suddenly.  This tragedy made her come to this realization. “I have had the pleasure of working with very small humans and they have taught me some important life lessons. Toddlers create the most amazing art with their tiny hands.  They don’t worry if it’s messy or even pretty because they are enjoying the creating process.”These life experiences have led Jessica to create upcycled, random, unique, one of a kind pieces. She has been asked where she gets her ideas and inspiration from, and her answer is always ,“Out of My Mind”, which also happens to be the name of her facebook presence. Check it out at Out Of My Mind-Art on facebook. At the opening reception on October 4th, the public can meet the artist, view the work, make purchases and enjoy reception fare.  The closing reception will be held on October 25 from 5-7pm at which time final purchases can be made.
