Creative Writing with E- Spooky Tales Series

Join local author, teacher, and friend of Perceptions Elisabeth Hegmann for this fall creative writing class for adults: Halloween Spooky Spectacular: How to Write Tales of Grinning Ghouls, Whimsical Witches, and Other Things that Go Bump in the Night!The class begins Thursday, September 26th and will continue to meet every Thursday for five consecutive weeks with the last class of the series on October 24th. All classes will take place upstairs at Perceptions in Vernon on Thursdays from 6 to 7:30 pm.Complete the form to register: https://forms.gle/UUDUrvenCSyTzxAY7Class Description: For this series, stories and writing prompts will focus on the fun and whimsical side of autumn and Halloween (with maybe just a little bit of spookiness). We’ll explore fictional stories as well as our own real-life, nostalgic tales and feelings surrounding this time of year.Participants need not have participated in the first series to join this class. The suggested donation is $40 – $50 for the series ($10 per class).Elisabeth has a B.A. in writing from Indiana University and an M.F.A. in fiction from North Carolina State University. She is the author of Modus Perfectus, a collection of interrelated, musically themed short stories, and has written numerous slipstream stories and novellas, as well as librettos for musical stage works.
